Armenia’s foreign policy concept aimed at protracting Karabakh conflict

Armenia and Russia are cooperating in the military-political and other spheres.

According to 1news.az, the statement came from political scientist Fikret Sadikhov, commenting on the statement by Russian MFA Spokesman Alexander Lukashevich that “the relations between Moscow and Yerevan have reached the level of allied partnership”.

Ukraine supports peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict

Armenian FM, special envoy of the OSCE chairman-in-office discuss Karabakh.

Turkey can play constructive role in resolving Karabakh conflict – John Kerry

Turkey and the United States have developed close partnerships on many fundamental issues.

Turkey MFA representative discusses Karabakh conflict in Baku

On Thursday, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Fatih Geylani.

Expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations in various fields, the sides noted the need to further develop partnerships by political and economic potential, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Mammadyarov and Geylani discussed regional issues, including the progress of the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

It was emphasized that the commissioning of the Khojaly airport in the occupied Azerbaijani territories will have negative impact on the negotiation process.

The parties also noted the importance of discussing ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of international organizations.

Slovakia concerned over situation in Nagorno Karabakh settlement

‘There is a need for progress in Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution proces’

‘Domestic developments in Azerbaijan do have an impact on EU-Azerbaijani relations’.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mahmoud Mammadguliyev met with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule in Brussels today, APA reports.

Commissioner stressed that domestic developments in Azerbaijan do have an impact on EU-Azerbaijani relations, APA reports quoting the EU press centre. He appreciated that the climate in bilateral relations improved but added that concerns remain about a number of issues on the domestic political scene in Azerbaijan, especially freedoms of assembly, expression and media.
